झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी के माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग स्टूडेंट दीपक सिंह ड्रीम बिग सीजन वन फोटोशूट में चयनित

झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी, डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ़ माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग के सेमेस्टर चार के स्टूडेंट दीपक किशोर सिंह का चयन “ड्रीम बिग सीजन वन फोटोशूट” के लिए किया गया है। आसनसोल के रहने वाले दीपक डिप्लोमा माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई बीआईटी नागपुर से पूरी की है और बीटेक माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग के लिए उनकी पसंद झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी रांची थी। अपनी सफलता को लॉक डाउन और कोरोना पैंडेमिक से जोड़ते हुए इन्होंने बताया ” उस दौरान मैं भी सभी स्टूडेंट्स की तरह ऑनलाइन अच्छे कॉलेज में एडमिशन सर्च कर रहा था और खली समय में नेट सर्फिंग किया करता था। इस दौरान मैंने एक ब्लॉग बनाया और कुछ लिखने के साथ वीडियो ब्लॉगिंग की शुरुवात अपने गृह नगर आसनसोल से किया। इसका नाम ‘फैसनेबल आसनसोल’ रखा था। सोशल मीडिया सर्च के दौरान मुझे प्रिंस नरूला के द्वारा लॉक डाउन के दौरान आयोजित होने वाले टैलेंट हंट कार्यक्रम की जानकारी मिली। प्रिंस नरूला एक जाने माने मॉडल और एमटीवी रोडीज़ 12 के विजेता रह चुके हैं। उन्होंने कई टीवी धारावाहिकों में भी काम किया है जिनमे रियलिटी शो बिग बॉस खासा चर्चित रहा। बिग बॉस 9 को उन्होंने जीता भी है। बस यही मुझे आकर्षित करने के लिए काफी था और मैंने फिर इस प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लेने का फैसला किया। ”

दीपक के अनुसार प्रतियोगिता में शामिल होने के लिए मैंने अपना फोटो और एक शार्ट वीडियो प्रोफाइल बनाकर भेजा। प्रतियोगिता में 40 बेहतरीन चेहरों का चयन किया गया जिनका पोर्टफोलियो शूट प्रिंस नरूला के मार्गदर्शन में संपन्न हुआ।

ड्रीम बिग सीजन एक में चयनित होने के बाद दीपक के पास मॉडलिंग से जुड़े तीन ऑफर भी है जिस पर वह काम चल रहा है। दीपक ने अपने हॉबी और अकादमिक करियर पर बात करते हुए बताया की ” मुझे क्रिकेट खेलना पसंद है और मैंने डिप्लोमा की पढ़ाई के दौरान अपने यूनिवर्सिटी को रिप्रजेंट भी किया। बीटेक की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद मैं माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग में ही एमटेक करना चाहता हूँ। आने वाले समय में मुझे रणविजय सांगा के साथ काम करने का मौका मिलने वाला है जो मुझे इस फील्ड में एक नई पहचान दिलाने में मददगार साबित होगा।“

विभाग के छात्र दीपक की सफलता पर विभाग समन्वयक प्रो. सुमित किशोर सहित अन्य शिक्षकों ने हर्ष वयक्त किया है।

यूनिवर्सिटी के रजिस्ट्रार प्रो. (डॉ) पियूष रंजन ने दीपक सिंह के उज्वल भविष्य की कामना करते हुए पढ़ाई के साथ मॉडलिंग को करियर के तौर पर अपनाने पर हर्ष जताया है। उन्होंने अपने संदेश में माइनिंग इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के शिक्षकों का भी धन्यवाद किया है।

झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी के तीन छात्रों का विप्रो में चयन

झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी, रांची के डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ़ कंप्यूटर साइंस एंड इनफार्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी (सीएस एंड आईटी ) के बीसीए सेमेस्टर सिक्स्थ के तीन छात्रों का चयन विप्रो कंपनी में हुआ है। चयनित छात्र रजनीकांत सिंह, सौरभ कुमार और आशीष कुमार विप्रो में स्कॉलर ट्रैनी पद पर कार्य करेंगे। इस दौरान उन्हें सम्मानजनक वेतन के साथ एमटेक करने मौका भी प्राप्त होगा। कंपनी इन्हें बीट्स पिलानी और वीआईटी वेल्लोर इन दो प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों में से किसी एक संस्थान से यह डिग्री प्राप्त करने का अवसर देगी।

अपनी सफलता पर हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए आशीष कुमार ने इसे गुरु जनों और माता पिता का आशीर्वाद और मार्गदर्शन बताया। सौरभ ने कहा की “लॉक डाउन के दौरान उन्हें विभाग के शिक्षक प्रो. कुमार अमरेंद्र से इस पद पर नियुक्ति संबंधी जानकारी मिली।। उनका मार्गदर्शन और मेरी मेहनत का नतीजा सबके सामने है। ”

चयनित छात्र रजनीकांत ने अपनी सफलता के बारे में बताते हुए कहा की ” स्कॉलर ट्रेनी पद पर चयन तीन चरणों में संपन्न हुआ। ऑनलाइन माध्यम से तीनों चरणों को मैंने सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया जिसके बाद विप्रो के कार्मिक विभाग से मुझे चयनित होने की सूचना मिली।“

सफल छात्र सौरभ ने भी मिली जुली प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए इस सफलता का श्रेय अपनी कड़ी मेहनत के साथ विभाग के शिक्षको से प्राप्त मार्दर्शन को दिया।

सीएस आईटी विभाग से बीसीए कर रहे तीनों छात्रों के चयन पर प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार प्रो.( डॉ.) पियूष रंजन ने सफल छात्रों के उज्जवल भविष्य की कल्पना करते हुए कहा की ” विभाग के तीनों मेधावी छात्रों का विप्रो जैसी प्रतिष्ठित कंपनी में चयन गौरव की बात है। इससे अन्य छात्रों को भी प्रेरणा मिलेगी और वे इससे भी बेहतर संस्थानों में चयनित होने के लिए खुद को तैयार करेंगे। ”

TWO DREAMS AND A BOY: ASHISH KUMAR

Growing up in Bokaro, Ashish had two dreams. One – to work for a software company and actively learn on the job. Second, to become an entrepreneur in the IT sector.

His dream led him to study BCA at Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi.

Thanks to the job offer from Wipro, his first dream has come true. Recently, Ashish attended placement facilitated by his Department mentor. Several interviews round later, he was one of the finalists.

“I’m excited to be a part of Wipro. Thanks to my University, I have got this opportunity to work for a leading IT company,” he says.

His clarity about what he wants from this work experience is worth noting. He says, “Know where you want to be in life after 4 years and start doing jobs that will help you get there.”

Ashish’s strong foundation of confidence comes from his mother.

“My mother constantly inspires me to follow my heart. She keeps insisting that I should listen to my inner voice,” he shares.

His career decisions align with this principle from his mother. During his 10+2 years at Bokaro Public School, he was particularly keen on learning computer skills. Apart from school studies, he actively read technology related materials and fortified his interests.

Right after school, BCA was his first choice. “My mother supported my decision and encouraged me to follow my dream.”

Thanking his mentors at college, he says ‘the years spent on JRU campus have been influential in shaping who I am today’.

“With learnings from Wipro, I look forward to make my second dream come true. Soon!” says Ashish with optimism.

As Ashish lives his first dream, JRU wishes him ‘All the Best’ for his future dreams.

झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी, रांची के राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के तहत स्थानीय स्तर पर स्वाथ्य एवं रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए क्वाथ (इम्युनिटी बूस्टर) टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया जा रहा है।

निः शुल्क वितरण कार्यक्रम एनएसएस के तहत गोद लिए गए गाँव राजा उलातू , सिदरौल, पलांडू, रामपुर एवं महिलौंग के अलावा विश्वविद्यालय के स्थायी कैंपस नामकुम के आस पास किसानों, कर्मियों, बाजारों, कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय एवं सरकारी कार्यालयों में सेवा देने वाले कार्मियों के बीच चलाया जा रहा है। इसमें स्वाथ्य एवं रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लोगों को प्रेरित करके का कार्य किया जाता है। इसके साथ निः शुल्क क्वाथ (इम्युनिटी बूस्टर) टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया जाता है।

पिछले दिनों इस अभियान के तहत झारखण्ड सरकार एमएसएमई टूल रूम टाटीसिलवे रांची में कर्मियों एवं अधिकारीयों के बीच क्वाथ टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया गया। इस अवसर पर एमएसएमई रूल रूम रांची के सीनियर मैनजेर मंगल टोप्पो को क्वाथ टैबलेट्स का पैकेट भेंट किया गया।
एक अन्य अभियान के दौरान कृषि उत्पादन बाजार समिति पंडरा, रांची में किये जा रहे निः दवा वितरण कार्यक्रम के दौरान समिति के वरीय अधिकारी (मार्केट सुपरवाईज़र ) विपुल सिंह, श्रीमती वंदना लाल, एम.एस. महतो, अनुपम टोप्पो एवं अन्य कर्मी उपस्थित थे।

अभियान के तहत दो दिनों तक यहाँ निः शुल्क क्वाथ टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया गया जिसका लाभ समिति से जुड़े सुरक्षा कर्मी, दुकानदार, मजदूरों को मिला।

क्वाथ (इम्युनिटी बूस्टर) टैबलेट्स निः शुल्क वितरण कार्यक्रम में एनएसएस स्वयंसेवक सोनू कुमार और आनंद कुमार का सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के एनएसएस अधिकारी प्रो. रघुवंश सिंह की उपस्थिति में यह अभियान संपन्न हुआ।

झारखण्ड राय यूनिवर्सिटी, रांची के राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस सेल ) के जरिये स्थानीय स्तर पर स्वाथ्य एवं रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए क्वाथ (इम्युनिटी बूस्टर) टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया जा रहा है। इस अभियान तहत ग्रामीण बाजारों,किसानों, मजदूरों के बीच निः शुल्क रोग प्रतिरोधक छमता बढ़ाने में सहयोगी क्वाथ टैबलेट्स का वितरण किया गया है। राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना एवं विश्वविद्यालय के एक्सटेंशन एंड आउटरीच प्रोग्राम के तहत संचालित यह कार्यक्रम रांची जिले के कई प्रखंडों, प्रखंड कार्यालयों एवं सप्ताहिक हाट बाजारों में चलाया जा रहा है। इसमें अब तक नामकुम प्रखंड के रामपुर बाजार, पलांडू, नामकुम प्रखंड सह अंचल कार्यालय, नामकुम बाजार में सफलतापूर्वक संचालित किया गया है। इसके अलावा रातू प्रखंड के दलादली साप्ताहिक हाट एवं कांके प्रखंड के कांके बाजार और कांके प्रखंड कार्यालय में क्वाथ (इम्युनिटी बूस्टर) टैबलेट्स का सफलतापूर्वक निः वितरण किया गया है।

इस अवसर पर एनएसएस के स्वयंसेवी छात्र एवं छात्राएं आस्था स्पृहा, काव्या सीधी कुजूर, तनु खलखो, अरविन्द कुमार, सन्नो रानी, लोकेश कुमार ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हुए अभियान को सफल बनाने में अपना योगदान दिया।

FROM JRU, RANCHI TO SWEDISH COMPANY EPIROC – SUCCESS STORY OF SUBHADRA

Subhadra Mahato’s own career journey mirrors her recent success – to pursue a profession in engineering with a deep sense of passion and courage. She recently got selected as a Service Engineer during pool campus placement activity by a Swedish company Epiroc Mining India Limited, Pune. She has been offered a package of Rs 5 lakhs.

“Professor and mentors from my department have always helped me,” Subhadra says. She is a B.Tech Electrical student from Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi.

“No matter what I do, I always look towards the learning outcome of every activity. It does not matter whether I win or not. For me the learning opportunity I get at every step is more important in life.”

The interview at Epiroc Mining was a great experience for Subhadra who humbly says that besides her efforts, ‘blessing from mentors, my parents and elders helped me in my success.’

Before starting her journey at Jharkhand Rai University, she had clear career goals, i.e, to be an engineer. “School is the best time to define and redefine what we want to be in our career. One must follow their curiosities and make bold choices.”

In school Subhadra was always an active student. She participated in everything – starting from martial arts, to anchoring annual events, to learning archery. With a passion to learn and win, she won many prizes in different competitions.“I eagerly look forward to my first job. I’m ready for this journey,” she says.

Everyone plays to win. But what makes Subhadra different is that she always plays to ‘learn’. This difference in perception is what fills her with clarity and confidence.

PRIVATE SECTOR JOBS TO BE RESERVED FOR LOCALS: CM

2021 will be the year of employment generation and recruitments for Jharkhand. This was the message of Chief minister Hemant Soren during the 72nd Republic Day in sub-capital Dumka.

CM Soren said that the state government is working on a new domicile policy. The new policy will reserve 75% jobs in the private sector for locals with an aim to ensure social and economic justice to the people of Jharkhand.

“Our government has resolved to dedicate this year to employment generation. Our aim is to provide employment to the maximum possible number of people,” he said.

Hemant said that Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination rules were formulated to ensure that employment drives conducted through the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is regularised.

“The new rules, constituted after decades, will enable different agencies to conduct recruitment tests through the year,” he said.

Soren said his government also aims to extend financial support to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth.

“For that very purpose, the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme has been introduced by our government. Through it, loans up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided with 40% subsidy,” the CM said.

In a bid to encourage sports, the state government, had come up with the resolution to appoint 50 sportspersons in government jobs every year.

Reflecting on the state tourism industry, the CM said the government was also aiming at promoting the state as tourist destination and a new tourism policy was on the anvil to achieve the target.
