Course Objective: Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be seen as the methods to make computer or machines intelligent trying to mimic human intelligence. It refers to a computing system’s ability to solve problems, make predictions or complete complex tasks. AI applications use emerging technology such as natural language processing, which interprets written and spoken words and machine learning, which enables applications to make predictions and recommendations.
This specialization is designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software or applications that can solve problems in a variety of domains and business applications. The course discusses AI methods in different fields, including neural networks; signal processing, control and data mining, presenting a unified treatment of machine learning problems and solutions.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:
- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals along with an engineering specialization for solving complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, with a clear understanding of the subject, reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
