So, what are the roles that are expanding in the work space? The report suggests automation and digitization in the workplace are increasing.

There will be a surge in demand for workers who can fill green economy jobs, roles at the forefront of the data and artificial intelligence economy, as well as new roles in engineering, cloud computing and product development.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO BE FUTURE READY?

Academicians feel that students who dropped out of admissions process last year made a mistake. Economy, we have seen in the past is subject to volatility. Ups and downs are a given. But it is better for students to enroll into a course than just wait around for the economy to recover.

No one can predict when the ‘recovery’ will happen? But those who are ready with skills, those who have the necessary training to be hired will find a job.

Every economic scenario throws something off balance. Simultaneously, it also throws new kinds of jobs that emerge in that particular situation. For example, look at how the digital disruption has created jobs at several levels which was unthinkable just 5 years back.

The smart way to handle the situation is to talk to counsellors and find out which is the best course for you, based on your acumen and the market situation. Talk to a career counsellor if you are confused – 18001202546

To deal with a tough scenario, find a way. Don’t just drop out of competition. Find a way to be future ready!
