The University has a setup of 1600 sq. m. of fully automatic state-of-art green house as agriculture research center. It is the first of its kind in the State. Moreover, this facility embraces latest technology available internationally. This green house is completely automated with internal and external shading provision. Besides, it has different types of hydroponic systems with fully automated fertigation equipment and water filtration plant.
Such a facility will provide exposure to the students, researchers and the local community in advance soilless technology.

As an extension to the existing research unit, the University will also start a fully automated state-of-art Mushroom Unit to further strengthen the agricultural research.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN – The course curriculum consists of topics such as agriculture science, use of modern scientific equipments, farming systems and sustainable agriculture, cultivation of fruits, vegetables, spices and flowers, land surveying, soil science, water resource management, dry land agriculture, integrated nutrient management, integrated pest management and animal and poultry management. The University is well equipped with Hi-Tech Agri Research Lab for training the students. The curriculum also provides knowledge of basics of Plant Biotechnology.
