The Department of Agriculture, Jharkhand Rai University, organized an educational visit for B.Sc Agriculture 6th semester students to premier research institutions, including the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi; ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation (IISWC), Dehradun; Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun; and the Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun.
This visit aims to provide students with practical exposure to advanced agricultural research, soil and water conservation techniques, remote sensing applications in agriculture, and forestry innovations. By interacting with scientists and exploring cutting-edge research facilities, students enhanced their understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and modern technological interventions, equipping them for future careers in agronomy, soil science, and environmental conservation.
