Jharkhand Rai University proudly hosted its 6th Convocation Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of our graduates in the presence of Hon’ble Governor Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, H.E. Mrs. Lalatiana Accouche, Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, and other distinguished dignitaries. A day of tradition, pride, and new beginnings.

Excursion to Bhubaneswar, students of the Department of Commerce and Management visited Parle Products (Parle-G)manufacturing unit. The visit provided practical insights into production processes, quality control, packaging, and supply chain management, enhancing their understanding of industrial operations and business practices.
The group also explored the historic Dhauli Shanti Stupa and the renowned Lingaraj Temple gaining exposure to the cultural and architectural heritage of Odisha.

The Department of Allied & Healthcare, in collaboration with JRU Health Club, organized an Expert Talk & Practical Workshop on transfusion medicine and safe blood banking. Students gained hands-on experience in donor screening, component therapy, cross-matching, storage, and transfusion safety, boosting their clinical skills and confidence for real-world lab practice.

The Department of Mining Engineering organized a dynamic one-day seminar on Mine Management in collaboration with the Jharkhand Government MSME Tool Room, followed by an industrial visit. 122 students explored advanced mining and workshop tools, gaining hands-on industry exposure and practical insights.

Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi proudly organized a One-Day User Awareness Programme on ORCID, IRINS & INFLIBNET Services for Scholarly Communities on 7th February 2026, in association with the UGC’s INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar (Gujarat).

The programme witnessed more than 100 registered participants across states. Sessions were delivered by two eminent Scientists from INFLIBNET and covered different topics including IRINS, SheRNI, INFLIBNET Services, One Nation One Subscription, LIB-VAHINI, ORCID etc for the Academicians and Research Scholars for the State of Jharkhand. This initiative marks a significant milestone in strengthening research visibility, digital research identity, and the future-ready academic ecosystem at Jharkhand Rai University.

A few glimpses of last day where JRU students visited the Nehru Museum of Science and Technology at IIT Kharagpur. The visit sparked curiosity, inspired innovation, and offered learning beyond classrooms, transforming knowledge into an unforgettable experience and lifelong memories. The students also visited the Centre of Excellence for Indian Knowledge Systems, gaining valuable insights into India’s rich intellectual and cultural heritage.

The Sports Club Spardha 2026 cricket tournament showcased thrilling matches and excellent sportsmanship. In the opening game, Mining defeated Law, with Praveen earning Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. Management secured a strong victory over Agriculture, and Aman was named Man of the Match. CSE & IT faced BMLT, where CSE emerged victorious, with Digamber recognized for his brilliant play. In the final match, Pharmacy triumphed over BPT, and Wasif received the Man of the Match award. The day reflected teamwork, determination, and competitive spirit among all departments, making it an exciting event for players and spectators alike.

JRU proudly signed an MoU with IBM and Cognitel today and also launched the B.Tech in AI & ML program in association with IBM, marking a significant step toward strengthening industry–academia collaboration and future-ready, technology-driven education.

The Tug of War game witnessed thrilling contests among the departments. The opening match between the Department of Pharmacy and Commerce & Management set an energetic tone, with the Department of commerce and management emerging victorious through superior coordination and strength.

The second match saw an intense battle between the Department of Legal Studies and CSE & IT, where the Department of CSE & IT showcased remarkable teamwork and endurance to secure the win. The final match between the Department of Agriculture and Physiotherapy concluded the event on a high note, as Physiotherapy department demonstrated exceptional unity and power to claim a convincing victory.
