ISC 12th EXAMS CANCELLED – 2021

The decision to cancel ISC 12th examinations by CISCE came after the Central Board of Secondary Education cancelled its class 12th examination 2021. Director of CISCE, Gerry Arathoon, announced that CISCE ISC 12th exams are cancelled due to Covid 19 situation.

The alternative assessment criteria will be announced soon.

In view of the pandemic conditions due to Covid and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII board exams would not be held this year.

PM Modi chaired a review meeting on June 1, 2021 regarding the Class 12 Board exams of CBSE. Following the meeting, PM Modi announced the decision to cancel the 12th exams and said: “COVID-19 has affected the academic calendar and the issue of Board Exams has been causing immense anxiety among students, parents and teachers, which must be put to an end.”

CISCE ISC 12TH EVALUATION CRITERIA

As for the evaluation criteria, the Council of Indian School of Certificate Examination has not announced any final evaluation criteria for ISC 12th students yet. It is most likely that CISCE will follow the CBSE 12th evaluation criteria of 2021.
