Dr. Ajit Kumar Gupta (PT)

Dr Ajit Kumar Gupta (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy. He pursued his master’s degree from West Bengal University of Health Sciences and obtained ‘ Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics’. He is certified ‘Upper and Lower Quarter on Clinical Neurodynamics’ conducted by ‘Neurodynamics Solutions’, Australia. He is also ‘Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy’ (COMT) by ‘Capri Institute of Manual Therapy’, Delhi held in Kolkata, India. He has updated his knowledge via online diploma courses like ‘FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine’ conducted by ‘Federation International De Football Association’ and ‘Physiotherapy Management of Spinal Cord Injuries’ conducted by ‘International Spinal Cord Society’. His Professional background is with more than 11 years of experience as clinician and two years of lecturer in ‘Nop any Institute of Healthcare Studies’. He worked in ‘Nop any Physiotherapy Clinic’ for two years as ‘Assistant Physiotherapist’. he worked as Physiotherapist in IED support Service, a program of ‘Sarvo Shiksha Mission’ for 6 months; ‘Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital Ltd.’, Kolkata for 3 years. He also being the sport physiotherapy trainee – ‘Volleyball Team, Kolkata Police.’ He was also appointed as the official Physiotherapist at the ‘ITF MEN, Futures Tennis Tournament,’ 2010. His achievements are unending. He was awarded ‘Best Poster Presentation’ in 7th State Conference of ‘The Indian Association of Physiotherapists'(IAP), West Bengal Branch (WB), 2009. He has received ‘BPT Final year Topper’ award from IAP, WB, 2010. His contribution to the field of Physiotherapy is appreciated at ‘1st, Corporate Conference’ of IAP held in Indore, 2019 as ‘Significant Contribution Award’. He has been elected as ‘Executive Member’ and serve from 2011 to 2020 and selected as ‘Treasurer IAP, WB’. He also being the Treasurer for ’59th IAP National Conference, 2022’ held in Kolkata. He is highly experienced and skilled physiotherapist.


Sunita Kumari Sahoo
Dr. Sunita Kumari Sahoo

Dr. Sunita Kumari Sahoo (PT) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy in Jharkhand Rai University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Physiotherapy from NIMS University Jaipur. She has obtained her Masters in physiotherapy (Neurology and Psychosomatic disorders) from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka in 2009. She has been completed her BPT from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka in 2006. She started working as a clinical physiotherapist with ASHWINI hospital Cuttack. She has also worked as senior physiotherapist in Apollo hospital Bhubaneswar for 3 years. She has worked as CONSULTANT in Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, ODISHA. She has also worked as Assistant professor in Hi- Tech Medical College hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She is highly experienced and skilled physiotherapist.



Dr. Pratyush Ghosh (PT)

Dr Pratyush Ghosh (PT) is a Musculoskeletal-physiotherapist and is presently serves as an Assistant Professor in Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University (JRU), Ranchi. Dr Ghosh completed his Bachelors in Physiotherapy from Peerless College of Physiotherapy and pursued his internships both from Peerless Hospital and B.K.Roy Research Center, Kolkata, West Bengal in 2020.He has sound experiences in ICCU, ITU, CTVS etc. He earned his Master of Physiotherapy with Musculoskeletal research as a specialization from Integral University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2022. Dr Ghosh also worked as a Sport Physiotherapist in Kolkata Police Marathon, IDBI Marathon etc among many others. He is certified in Kinesiology taping techniques by The Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP) in 2020 & Sports injuries & on-field management by Bengal Progressive Students’ Association of Physiotherapy (BPSAPT) in 2017.



Dr. Ayush Anand (PT)

Dr. Ayush Anand (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy in Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Anand earned his bachelor’s degree from Galgotias University, Noida. There his thesis ‘Effect of Prolonged Standing on Knee Joint Proprioception’ was selected and published in International Journal of Research and Analytical Review. He has done his internship from Army Hospital Research and Referral, New Delhi. He completed his master’s degree in neurology from Sharda University, Noida with the thesis submitted on the topic ‘Prevalence of Dyspnoea after Stroke in Stroke patients’. During his master’s he has also actively served and taken care of Covid-19 patients in the Covid-19 ward & ICU of Sharda Hospital. Apart from this he has also done his training from Medanta- The Medicity, Gurgaon & Dharamshila Cancer Hospital, New Delhi in management of ICU patients. During his course of study, he has also been part of various workshops and medical camps.


Raunaque Ara
Dr. Raunaque Ara (PT)

Dr. Raunaque Ara (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Raunaque Ara had completed her bachelor’s degree from Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad. She had done her thesis on “Prevalence of Depression in Adolescent Students of a Public School”. She perused her Internship from King George Medical College, Lucknow. She earned her Master of Physiotherapy Degree in Musculoskeletal Specialization from Integral University, Lucknow with the thesis submitted on the topic “Reliability and Validity of Smart Phone Application for the Measurement of Cranio-Vertebral Angle, Cranio-Horizontal Angle and Shoulder Sagittal Angle”. Dr. Raunaque is also a certified Kinesiology Taping Therapist and Antepartum and Postpartum Therapist. She also worked with “SAFAL” Foundation.


Debasmita khuntia
Dr. Debasmita khuntia (PT)

Dr. Debasmita khuntia (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University. Dr. khuntia has earned her Masters in ORTHOPAEDIC PHYSIOTHERAPY from Guru Nanak Dev university, Amritsar and BPT from Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, ODISHA. The topic of her dissertation was “Postural Hyperkyphosis and it’s Management by Manual Therapy in young Adult Females” which has been reviewed for International Publication. She is a certified Dry Needling Therapist. Dr. khuntia has attended workshop on Non Invasive complete Respiratory Care and conducted free health camp on various places. Her interests are Reading journals, Playing musical instruments and different cultural activities.


Anshu Priya
DR. ANSHU PRIYA (PT)

Dr. Anshu Priya is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. She has done her bachelors from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh. She pursued her internship from Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Superspeciality Hospital, Ranchi. Dr. Anshu earned her Masters degree in Physiotherapy in Neurological Disorders from Garden City University, Bangalore. The topic of the MPT dissertation was “Combined Effect of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation in upper limb fine motor skills in chronic stroke patients”. Dr. Anshu is also certified in Matwork Pilates (lv 1, 2 and 3) from Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). She has worked as on field physiotherapist in Grand Prix Badminton League (GPBL) in Karnataka. She has attended workshop on Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT). She has also worked in different NGO’S and took many cases as a challenge to improve the patient’s quality of life.
