Prof. Parma Nand Singh
Parma Nand Singh is a Professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University. He earned his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from B.U. Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He completed his Intermediate from M.U Bodh Gaya and Matriculation from B.S.E.B. Patna. He has Worked as Lecturer in Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College of Pharmacy, Anisabad, Patna from 03.01.1988 to 02.03.1993. He also has Worked as Lecturer in Patliputra College of Pharmacy, Khagaul , Patna from 28.03.1993 to 05.03.2006. He is an elected member of of Bihar State Pharmacy Council from
Prof. Hemendra Mishra
Hemendra Mishra is a HoD in the Department of Pharmacy, Jharkhand Rai University. Prior to joining Jharkhand Rai University, he worked as Principal in Sita Devi College of Pharmacy and Management, Barabanki (U.P.). He served Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow (U.P.) and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University, Vadodra (Gujrat), Sigma Institute of Pharmacy, Vadodra (Gujrat). He has worked as Analytical Chemist in Ess Jee Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. Bahadurgarh (Haryana). Prof. Hemendra Mishra has rich experience of 13 years of industrial & academic. He has received Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Mazitar, Rangpo (E. Sikkim), affiliated to North Bengal University (W. Bengal), he has graduated as B. Pharm from Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Mazitar, Rangpo (E. Sikkim), affiliated to North Bengal University (W. Bengal), he had completed his Diploma in Pharmacy from Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Deorali, Gangtok (E. Sikkim). He is pursuing his Ph. D from Oriental University Indore, (M.P.). He had guided various M. Pharm Projects on Nobel Drug Delivery System and had attended Workshop and Quality Improvement Programme, Presented Poster/Papers in Conferences.
Prof. Uma Kumari
Uma Kumari is a Professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University. Uma Kumari earned her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from S. Sinha College, Aurangabad, Bihar and Masters in Pharmacology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. She did her M. Pharm Project on the topic, “Evaluation of the activity of Quercetin in hippocampal memory impairment”. She has qualified GPAT and got AICTE PG scholarship for doing M. Pharm. She has also attended international conferences and participated in poster presentation. She is a member of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association Jharkhand state branch.
Prof. Priyanka Jaiswal
Priyanka Jaiswal is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. She obtained her M.pharm degree from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT, Mesra), Ranchi and B.pharm. degree from BPUT( Biju Patnaik University of Technology), Odisha. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor in Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela. In addition, also has experience in Pharmaceutical Industry like Eumark Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. and Novo Medi Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. She had also associated with National Rural Health Mission(NRHM) for RBSK program for a short period.
Apart from these, she has published Research paper in National and International journal. She has also attended TEQIP sponsored workshop and International conference. Her major area of interest
Prof. Komal Kriti
Komal Kriti is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi currently. She seek her M. Pharm degree from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT, Mesra), Ranchi and B. Pharm degree from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan. She has work experience as a scientist in R & D segment of ADL Department of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Pvt LTD, Bhat, Gandhi Nagar and Gujarat.
Apart from this, she has published a conference paper in “The 21 st International Electronic Conference on Synthetic Organic Chemistry” and presented a review paper in IPC in 2018. She has also attended an International conference (IBRO) as a dedicated research scientist. Her area of concern is natural drug targeting at CNS.
Prof. Varnita Karmakar
Varnita Karmakar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. She has obtained her B. Pharm and M. Pharm degree from Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences, Howrah, West Bengal. She carried out her M. Pharm project using a Marine Sponge “Cliothosa aurivilli”, and evaluated its effect on the Chemotherapy induced Peripheral Neuropathy on experimental animals.
Besides, she has presented a research paper in Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPC) 2017, entitled “Extraction and Characterization of Tamarind Gum as a natural polymer”. Apart from attending and presenting papers in National and International conferences, she has also authored a review paper on “Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin combination could be lethal to COVID-19 patients” in Farmacia Journal (Impact Factor: 1.62). She has undergone training on biotechnological tools and techniques in SHRM Biotech, Kolkata. She is having experience in animal handling including rodents and zebrafish. Her field of interest in research is on preclinical neuropharmacological studies of natural products from plant and marine sources.
Prof. Jay Chandra
Jay Chandra is a lecturer in the faculty of pharmaceutical sciences at Jharkhand Rai University. Jay Chandra earned his Bachelor in Pharmacy from NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Mr. Chandra has a experience of 3 years and during this span he has worked in different fields of Pharmacy. He has worked as a quality control chemist at PHPL, Pali, Rajasthan and worked with Piramal swasthya, Bokaro hospital. He has also an experience as lecturer at R.J.W.C.P.E.T at Pillani, Rajasthan. Apart from this, He also attended IPC 2018, held at Amity University, Noida, Uttar pradesh. His area of interests are Natural Products and Cosmetology.
Prof. Arya Ghosh
Education Arya Ghosh, at the present time working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. He has achieved his D. Pharm, B. Pharm and M. Pharm degree from Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences, Howrah, West Bengal.
Research Experience Conducted Project for the Master’s Dissertation work was done in collaboration with Institute of Nanoelectronic Engineering (INEE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Carried Master’s dissertation work entitled on “Human Mammary Tumor Virus DNA- Biomarker Analysis for Breast Cancer: Salient Enrichment by Gold Nanoparticle Adjuvant Tetravalent Streptavidin Biotin Strategy”.
According to his educational knowledge and skills, he has strategic experience about Animal handling (Specially, Sprague dawley Rat, Swiss Albino Mice & Zebrafish), In-vivo Preclinical Study, Pharmacological Instruments and Nanotechnology based instruments.
In addition, he has presented papers on “Role of Oncogenic virus in the development of human and mouse mammary tumor virus”, “Molecular mechanism of Autophagy”, “Zinc finger proteins in health and diseases”, etc. At International and National level Conferences. He has also joined as a participant in Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPC) 2017, Chitkara University, Chandigarh.
Prof. Sourav Khawas
Sourav Khawas is a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University. Mr. Khawas earned his Bachelor in Pharmacy from Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, Durgapur. He has published two Research paper in Asian Journal of Research in Chemistry. Mr. Khawas had also attended different National and International conference and Seminars. His area of interest are Novel Drug Delivery System and Spectrophotometry.
