The students of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University participated in the prestigious 3 Days International Conference on Modern Tools and Approaches in Emerging Field of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Research organized by JIS University, Kolkata. The event aimed to explore cutting-edge innovations in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and biomedical research, bringing together experts, scholars, and researchers from around the globe.

A key highlight of the 3rd day of conference was the Scientific Poster Presentation session, in which students from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jharkhand Rai University showcased their research findings. This platform allowed students to present their ideas and findings in various sub-domains, such as drug delivery systems, molecular pharmacology, biomedical engineering, and pharmaceutical formulation, demonstrating the depth of their academic and research pursuits.

In recognition of their outstanding contributions, 19 abstracts submitted by the department’s students were accepted for publication in the International Journal of Applied Pharmaceutics, a prestigious Scopus-indexed Q2 journal. This achievement underscores the high-quality research education being conducted at Jharkhand Rai University, aligning with global advancements in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

Three days International Conference on “𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡” was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, JIS University, Kolkata.

The event brought together experts and academics to discuss the latest advancements in pharmaceutical and biomedical research, with a focus on modern tools and innovative approaches. A total of 24 students, along with 3 faculty members from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jharkhand Rai University, actively participated in this enriching international event.

The conference featured a range of technical sessions, workshops, and discussions on cutting-edge research and developments in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields. Participants had the opportunity to interact with leading researchers, gain valuable insights, and explore potential collaborations. Students of MBA Semester III and Semester I from Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) visited Osam Dairy at Patratu today as part of an industrial visit. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain insights into the production process of milk and dairy products. During the visit, the students interacted with the company’s Plant Manager and officials, who shared valuable information about quality control, innovative experiments, and the company’s dedication to maintaining high-quality standards in production. Such industrial visits are organized to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

To celebrate the National Unity Day in the memory of our Great leader and freedom fighter, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s paramount role in India’s independence movement and integration into one nation was organized by NSS Cell of Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Students from different departments participated actively in the event. Total 60 students joined the event and took oath to spread the feeling of National Unity among the themselves Prof (Dr.) Piyush Ranjan Sir, Registrar Jharkhand Rai University, Dr. Ved Prakash, COE and Prof. Manoshi Roy has also joined the event. Their presence provided valuable insights to our students.

Few glimpses of Inter Department Football Tournament match at Jharkhand Rai University. Ranchi. 1st Match the Mining Department faced off against the Department of Physiotherapy. Dominating the match from start to finish, the Mining Department showcased exceptional teamwork and skill, securing a decisive 5-0 victory. 2nd Match the Department of Law showcased an impressive performance against the Department of Agriculture, securing a commanding 3-0 victory.The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences edged out the Department of Law with a narrow 1-0 victory.

In a thrilling industrial visit, students from the Department of Mining Engineering at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi, had an opportunity to step into the future of engineering at the MSME Tool Room in Jharkhand. This hands-on experience exposed them to state-of-the-art machinery, innovative technologies, and precision tools that power the modern industrial world.

Exploring the Depths: A Journey into Earth Sciences at CMPDI Museum Students from the Department of Mining Engineering had the opportunity to visit the CMPDI Earth Science Museum, one of India’s premier geological and coal mining museums.

A Rawe monitoring visit was scheduled for on-going RAWE Programe of B.Sc (Agri.) – VIIth sem at KVK Saharsa (Bihar).
The main objective of this programme is to provide practical exposure to all the students in real-world agricultural settings , understanding of local agricultural practices and challenges and to facilitate interaction between students and local farmers. The students were doing great at this venue.

Institution’s Innovation Council at Jharkhand Rai University successfully organized the Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024 . Students chose problem statements provided by the Ministry of Education and proposed innovative solutions based on their creative ideas.
