Industrial Visit – Mining Engg. Students – HEC Ranchi

In an effort to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry experience, a group of enthusiastic Mining Engineering students from B.Tech semester I from Jharkhand Rai University recently visited the Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) in Ranchi. The visit offered students a firsthand look at the manufacturing processes behind state-of-the-art mining equipment.

International Conference on “𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 (𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐇 2024)” at KIIT Bhubaneswar and delivering a keynote address on “Holistic Approaches to Miners Safety: Bridging physical and mental wellbeing” during the event. Adding to the pride, two talented 2nd-year students from the Department of Mining Engineering, Jharkhand Rai University, presented their research papers at this prestigious platform. One student from dept of pharmacy, Mr. Asif participated in Poster presentation.

Know your Army

A successful initiative titled 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 was organized by the INDIAN ARMY at the 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 Ground in Ranchi. Soldiers from various departments demonstrated a range of weaponry and the latest technologies employed in warfare. It was a significant privilege and honor to host such an event at Jharkhand Rai University.

A workshop event titled “𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭” was organized by the Department of Agriculture in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The event featured engaging sessions by esteemed guest speakers, Mr. Yuvraj Seth and Mr. Raosahab Samrat. They discussed the vision and strategies for a developed India, emphasizing the role of innovation and sustainable agricultural practices. The workshop highlighted the integration of modern technology in farming, entrepreneurship opportunities, and policy initiatives to drive agricultural growth. The event provided a platform for meaningful discussions, inspiring participants to contribute to building a progressive and self-reliant India. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, offering valuable insights to students.

A successful blood donation camp was conducted by the Department of Management, Pharmaceutical Science, NSS, and Health Club in collaboration with RIMS, Ranchi. It’s an incredible display of generosity, 200+ Students donated blood to help those in need. Their kindness, Definitely will effect and inspiring others to follow their footsteps.

Constitutional Day

Constitutional Day 2024

On the occasion of Constitutional Day, the Department of Legal Studies in association with IIC and NSS Cell successfully organized three engaging events aimed at enriching students’ understanding of constitutional principles and their application in modern contexts.

Poster Making Competition on Legal Aid through Technology:
Six teams, each comprising three students, participated in this creative event. The competition encouraged students to explore innovative ways technology can enhance access to legal aid, fostering critical thinking and visual communication skills.

Expert Talk on Technology and Law through the Lens of the Constitution:
Advocate Rahul Dev delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the interrelationship between the Constitution and advancements in technology. The session provided students with a deeper understanding of constitutional safeguards and the evolving legal challenges posed by technological developments.

JRU Sansad – Debate on the Women Reservation Bill:
Thirty-two students were divided into two groups to debate the pros and cons of the Women Reservation Bill. This interactive session not only honed their public speaking and analytical skills but also deepened their awareness of pressing socio-legal issues through critical discussions.

These events collectively enriched students’ academic and practical understanding of the Constitution, emphasizing its relevance in contemporary legal and societal challenges. The overwhelming participation and positive feedback reflect the success of the initiatives
