In a groundbreaking approach to physics practical, traditional physical laboratory experiments have been seamlessly integrated with virtual lab simulations. This innovative fusion aims to enhance the quality of student learning by leveraging virtual lab tools alongside hands-on experiments, students can explore complex physics concepts with greater depth, visualize theoretical principles in real time, and refine their analytical skills.

Recently, students from the Mining Engineering program at Jharkhand Rai University (JRU), Ranchi, visited the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering & Technology (CIPET) in Ranchi to enhance their understanding of the various applications of petrochemicals across different engineering disciplines.

Throughout the visit, the students examined the significance of petrochemicals in manufacturing, with a particular focus on moulding machines and industrial processes. Professionals at CIPET offered practical demonstrations and comprehensive insights into the ways in which petrochemical products facilitate progress in engineering and technology.

Professor Mr. Rahul Kumar from the Department of Agriculture had an opportunity to engage with various farmer and non-organizational representative to exchange ideas on agriculture practices.

The Department of Mining Engineering effectively conducted an enlightening expert lecture on the topic of “Vikshit Bharat – A sustainable development,” presented by Dr. S.P Singh, the former Vice chancellor of V.K.S University. The session highlighted innovative approaches and actionable strategies for achieving sustainable growth in India, emphasizing the role of resource management and environmental stewardship. Dr. Singh’s expert insights inspired students and faculty to contribute actively towards building a sustainable and progressive nation.

First Semester BSc Agriculture students undertook an educational excursion to Shankar Nursery in Lowadih. This visit afforded them the opportunity to observe various horticultural practices, explore methods of plant cultivation and acquire knowledge nursery management. Such practical exposure enabled the students to enhance their comprehension of plant growth, thereby enriching their academic knowledge and future professional endeavors in the field of agriculture.

The students from Department of Paramedical Sciences at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi conducted a visit to laboratories within Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. Throughout their visit, they observed a range of equipment and acquire knowledge regarding their operation and necessary safety protocols for handling them

What an amazing grand celebration during Deepotsav 2024 at our university. Over 500 students showcased their talents in events like Rangoli, Craft Making, and Candle Creation.
