An industrial visit was conducted to the Jharkhand Government Tool Room in Tatisilwai, Ranchi, specifically for MCA and B.Tech CSE students. This excursion allowed students to delve into technologies pertinent to the industry and comprehend their practical uses.
Throughout the visit, students acquired significant knowledge regarding the Incubation Cell of JGTR, where creative concepts are fostered and refined. They also gained insights into advanced Data Analysis Tools and had the opportunity to explore the IoT Lab, thereby broadening their understanding of state-of-the-art technologies and their applications in real-world scenarios.
National Science Day 19 March 2025
The Science Club at Jharkhand Rai University proudly commemorated National Science Day on March 19, 2025, by organizing InnovateX: a Model and Poster Exhibition.
This event was a remarkable display of creativity and scientific excellence, featuring:
- 16 groups presenting posters
- 18 groups showcasing models
There was significant participation from all the departments, contributing to the event’s success. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated students, the invaluable support from our esteemed faculty, and the steadfast assistance of the Institution Innovation Council.

Industrial visit to Medha Dairy 19 March 2025
The industrial visit to Medha Dairy (Packaged Milk Plant), Khelgaon by BBA II and B. Com II students.
Students of BBA Semester II and B. Com Semester II from Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) visited Medha Dairy at Khelgaon today as part of an industrial visit.
Provided students with valuable insights into the dairy processing industry and the functioning of a large-scale packaged milk production unit. This visit was an excellent opportunity for students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in supply chain management, production processes, and quality control.
During the visit, students observed the entire milk processing cycle, including pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and storage. They learned about the importance of hygiene, automation, and technology in ensuring product safety and efficiency. The visit also highlighted cold chain logistics, supply chain management, and the role of quality control measures in maintaining the freshness of dairy products.
Additionally, students gained insights into marketing strategies, procurement of raw milk from farmers, and sustainability initiatives undertaken by the dairy industry. The visit was highly enriching, fostering a deeper understanding of operations management, quality assurance, and the role of dairy industries in economic development.
International Women’s Day 2025 9 March 2025
International Women’s Day 2025 Celebration, the Gender Champions Club organized a revitalizing yoga session specifically for our female employees. The purpose of this event was to foster relaxation, self-care, and a sense of community among the attendees.
We were privileged to have Guriya Kumari, an experienced yoga instructor with eight years of expertise and a student in her fourth semester of BPT, facilitate the session with both skill and enthusiasm. Her instruction enabled participants to relax and engage with their inner selves.
This event served as a meaningful celebration of women’s empowerment and well-being. We extend our gratitude to Guriya for her significant role in ensuring the success of this occasion.
Two students has been acknowledged at a state-level competition 8 March 2025
Two students name Muskan Saw and Kumari Nupur Sen have been acknowledged at a state-level competition that featured eight distinct teams from various universities across Jharkhand, all competing at the BIT campus. From our Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at JRU, a total of 18 students were chosen to take part in the event.
