Feedback from former students is crucial for assessing and improving the academic culture in higher education. Alumni provide valuable insights into the challenges they faced, particularly regarding curriculum relevance to the job market. The Alumni Association of Jharkhand Rai University collected feedback from approximately 122 graduates in the 2023-24 academic year.
The results indicate a strong positive impact, with 94% of alumni expressing pride in their affiliation and a willingness to contribute to the university’s growth. Most (88%) acknowledged the active involvement of alumni in university activities. Alumni credited the university with shaping their professional success and personal development, emphasizing that their experience extended beyond earning a degree to include valuable human values and overall growth. They also reported increased confidence, improved communication skills, and enhanced leadership qualities, attributing their social integration and lasting relationships to their time at the university.
