
Dr. Ajit Kumar Gupta (PT)
Dr Ajit Kumar Gupta (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy. He pursued his master’s degree from West Bengal University of Health Sciences and obtained ‘ Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics’. He is certified ‘Upper and Lower Quarter on Clinical Neurodynamics’ conducted by ‘Neurodynamics Solutions’, Australia. He is also ‘Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy’ (COMT) by ‘Capri Institute of Manual Therapy’, Delhi held in Kolkata, India. He has updated his knowledge via online diploma courses like ‘FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine’ conducted by ‘Federation International De Football Association’ and ‘Physiotherapy Management of Spinal Cord Injuries’ conducted by ‘International Spinal Cord Society’. His Professional background is with more than 11 years of experience as clinician and two years of lecturer in ‘Nop any Institute of Healthcare Studies’. He worked in ‘Nop any Physiotherapy Clinic’ for two years as ‘Assistant Physiotherapist’. he worked as Physiotherapist in IED support Service, a program of ‘Sarvo Shiksha Mission’ for 6 months; ‘Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital Ltd.’, Kolkata for 3 years. He also being the sport physiotherapy trainee – ‘Volleyball Team, Kolkata Police.’ He was also appointed as the official Physiotherapist at the ‘ITF MEN, Futures Tennis Tournament,’ 2010. His achievements are unending. He was awarded ‘Best Poster Presentation’ in 7th State Conference of ‘The Indian Association of Physiotherapists'(IAP), West Bengal Branch (WB), 2009. He has received ‘BPT Final year Topper’ award from IAP, WB, 2010. His contribution to the field of Physiotherapy is appreciated at ‘1st, Corporate Conference’ of IAP held in Indore, 2019 as ‘Significant Contribution Award’. He has been elected as ‘Executive Member’ and serve from 2011 to 2020 and selected as ‘Treasurer IAP, WB’. He also being the Treasurer for ’59th IAP National Conference, 2022’ held in Kolkata. He is highly experienced and skilled physiotherapist.

Dr. Raunaque Ara (PT)
Dr. Raunaque Ara (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Raunaque Ara had completed her bachelor’s degree from Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad. She had done her thesis on “Prevalence of Depression in Adolescent Students of a Public School”. She perused her Internship from King George Medical College, Lucknow. She earned her Master of Physiotherapy Degree in Musculoskeletal Specialization from Integral University, Lucknow with the thesis submitted on the topic “Reliability and Validity of Smart Phone Application for the Measurement of Cranio-Vertebral Angle, Cranio-Horizontal Angle and Shoulder Sagittal Angle”. Dr. Raunaque is also a certified Kinesiology Taping Therapist and Antepartum and Postpartum Therapist. She also worked with “SAFAL” Foundation.

Dr. Rashmi Kumari Hembrom (PT)
Dr. Rashmi Kumari Hembrom (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University. She has earned her Master’s in Physiotherapy with the Specialization in Cardiopulmonary and currently Pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics. She has also completed her Diploma in student Psychology & having experience of both clinical and Academic for more than 6 years. She is also an Editorial Member of the Indian Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences and has Prospective Progressive Mindset for the upcoming Physiotherapy era. She was associated with Organizations like Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela Steel Plant, SAIL, Assam Downtown University, Abhinav Bindra Sports Medicine and Research Institute, and Regional Rehabilitation and Research Center.

Dr. Deepali Kumari (PT)
Dr. Deepali kumari (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University. She has earned her Master’s degree in Orthopedics from National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities, Kolkata and BPT from Swami Vivekananda National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, Odisha. The topic of her dissertation was “Comparison between Myofascial Release of Subscapularis along with shoulder mobilization and shoulder mobilization alone on pain, range of motion and function in subjects with Adhesive Capsulitis: A Randomized Controlled Trial.” She has attended workshops on Dry needling, Cupping therapy, Basic Life Support and Robotic TKR.

Dr. Soumya Ranjan Lenka (PT)
Dr. Soumya Ranjan Lenka (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University. Dr. Soumya did his Bachelors in Physiotherapy at National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities, WBUHS, Kolkata, West Bengal and he has successfully completed his Master in Physiotherapy (Neurology) at Abhinav Bindra Sports Medicine and Research Institute, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He has attended several International and National Conferences, Workshops and Seminars and developed numerous skills and knowledge of handling patients and treating them. He is very keen towards various curricular and extra-curricular activities with a special interest in sports as he himself a sportsperson and has won several awards in cricket and other sports.

Ms. Ragini Kumari (PT)
Ms. Ragini Kumari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy. She holds a Master’s degree (2024) in Neurology from the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree (2022) from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Additionally, she is certified as a Basic Skills Wheelchair Trainer by ISIC, New Delhi, and a Basic Life Support Provider by the American Heart Association. She has actively participated in numerous scientific conferences, seminars, and webinars.

Dr. Pappu Kumar (PT)
Dr. Pappu Kumar (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics (2013–2015) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Uttar Pradesh, and completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2008–2012) from the Institute of Physiotherapy, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. He has received specialized certifications in Myofascial Release and Mulligan Technique from Jaipur Golden Hospital, Rohini Sector-03, New Delhi, and has also undergone training in Physiotherapy Management of Spinal Cord Injuries conducted by M.S.S. Hospital, Pitampura, New Delhi.
Dr. Kumar possesses over 3 years of clinical experience and 7 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paramedical Sciences, YBN University, Ranchi. In recognition of his contribution to wellness initiatives, he was honored on the occasion of International Day of Yoga (21st June 2022) by the NSS team of YBN University. His research work includes a postgraduate thesis titled “Effect of Cryotherapy in Ankle Sprain” (2015) and a study entitled “A Comparative Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Motor Imagery Training on Freezing of Gait and the 10-Meter Walk Test in Parkinson’s Subjects.” He has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars, reflecting his continued commitment to academic excellence and professional development.

Dr. Tamal Mandal (PT)
Dr. Tamal Mandal (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Jharkhand Rai University, with more than 15 years of extensive experience in clinical practice and physiotherapy education. His core areas of expertise include musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation, pain management, and the therapeutic application of electrotherapy modalities.
He is actively engaged in undergraduate teaching, clinical training, and academic mentoring, with a strong emphasis on clinical reasoning, patient-centered care, and evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Dr. Mandal has worked in multispecialty hospital and home-care settings and is committed to enhancing the quality of physiotherapy education and professional competence of students.
