In reference to the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulation, 2015. Jharkhand Rai University has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). The focus of the Internal Complaints Committee is to give effect to the policy of zero tolerance of sexual harassment of women or gender-based violence.
Process / Procedure of making complaint of sexual harassment
- An aggrieved person (faculty member, student, staff) is required to submit a written complaint to the ICC within three months from the date of the incident and in case of a series of incidents within a period of three months from the date of the last incident at mail id icc@jru.edu.in
- An aggrieved person may also submit a written complaint to the Presiding Officer: Dr. Shraddha Prasad (Contact No. 7979899522)
