Faculty Feedback Analysis 2023-24

The analysis of feedback underscores the growing necessity for faculty engagement in maintaining the quality of education at Jharkhand Rai University. Active involvement from faculty members is crucial for the comprehensive development of students. Feedback was collected from 55 faculty members regarding various facets of educational delivery, including the provision of sufficient time and resources for syllabus development, the balance of theoretical and practical components, alignment with program outcomes, insights from industry experts in syllabus design, the emphasis on essential technical and teaching skills, the incorporation of ethical values, recommended reference materials, adaptability based on current trends, and the updating of elective courses.

Recognizing the significant role teachers play in curriculum design and implementation, their feedback was thoroughly reviewed to inform necessary actions. The overall response from faculty members was largely positive, with 92% affirming that the syllabus is pertinent to their respective courses. Furthermore, 89% agreed that the curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to meet industry demands. An impressive 96% concurred that the programs offered are multidisciplinary and contribute to the holistic development of students. Moreover, 92% indicated that the course outcomes and objectives are clearly defined, while 98% found the university’s administration to be supportive of teachers’ needs. Additionally, 92% noted that the administration is generally accommodating, and 98% agreed that the courses and syllabi maintain a commendable balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
