The input from former students, is crucial for evaluating and enhancing the academic culture of higher education institutions. Once individuals have transitioned out of the formal education structure, they can provide an objective perspective on the challenges they encountered, particularly regarding the relevance of the curriculum in the job market. The Alumni Association of Jharkhand Rai University systematically gathers feedback from its past students on various aspects. For the academic year 2022-23, the association received input from approximately 182 alumni.
The feedback from the alumni underscores the institution’s positive impact, with 98% expressing pride in their affiliation with the university and a willingness to contribute to its advancement. A significant majority (89%) acknowledged JRU’s active involvement of alumni in its activities. Alumni credited the university with playing a pivotal role in shaping not only their professional development but also their ethical and personal growth. They noted that their association with the university went beyond acquiring a degree, as it also facilitated their growth as individuals, instilling in them important human values and enriching various aspects of their lives.
The alumni proudly attested that the university instilled confidence in them through its programs and the encouragement of teachers to actively participate in these initiatives. They also recognized the university’s contribution to honing their communication skills, nurturing leadership qualities, fostering social commitment, and instilling a sense of responsibility. Many alumni emphasized that the university played a crucial role in their social integration and in cultivating lasting relationships.
