Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi Hosts 6th Convocation Ceremony

Ranchi, Jharkhand – Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) successfully held its 6th Convocation Ceremony on Wednesday, 25th February 2026 at the JUT Auditorium, Namkum, Ranchi. The event marked a proud milestone in the academic journey of graduating students, celebrating their achievements and future aspirations.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand and Visitor of Jharkhand Rai University, who presided as the Chief Guest.

6th Convocation JRU Ranchi

The convocation was attended by international dignitaries, adding a global dimension to the celebration. The event also witnessed the presence of corporate leaders, academicians, enthusiastic well‑wishers, students, media representatives, and members of the wider community, making it a truly memorable and inclusive occasion.

Addressing the convocation ceremony, the Governor said, “The responsibility lies upon our students to channel their knowledge toward nation‑building. You must strive to become job creators, not merely job seekers. Today, the youth of Bharat has innumerable opportunities before them. With your skills, innovation, and positive thinking, you will make Bharat truly Aatma Nirbhar.”

 6th Convocation of Jharkhand Rai University

Prof. (Dr.) Savita Sengar, Chancellor, Jharkhand Rai University, in her Welcome Address conveyed that for graduates their skills are not just tools for personal success but instruments of social transformation. Giving back to society is the highest expression of education.

Similarly, other distinguished speakers shared their thoughts while wishing students for a successful career ahead.

H.E. Mrs. Lalatiana Accouche, High Commissioner to India, Republic of Seychelles congratulated the university, its students, faculty, and parents for their achievements and excellent results.

She encouraged students to remain true to the values they have imbibed at Jharkhand Rai University. She emphasized that education must uplift not only individuals but also communities they touch. True success, she said, is measured by the positive impression you leave on others.

Shri Arjun Munda Ji, former Cabinet Minister, Government of India and Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand reflected, “The university is one, yet its students — each with unique skills — will illuminate diverse industries with responsibility and vision. The knowledge you gain here carries the expectation that you will guide the future of this nation”.

He stressed the need for innovation and the indigenous development of technologies, reminding us that true progress lies in creating solutions rooted in our own strengths.

Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, former Chancellor, Jharkhand Rai University; Founder – G100, ALL, WEF, WICCI, SHEconomy remarked, “Just like your parents act as your safety net, we are also here to support you. Count on us as your safety net. Anytime you are seeking help or seeking support you are always welcome to your home that is JRU.”

Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Ranjan, Vice Chancellor, Jharkhand Rai University, expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, students, and guests, underscoring the university’s commitment to nurturing talent and contributing to nation‑building.

He added, “In a rapidly changing academic and professional landscape, Jharkhand Rai University is advancing towards Outcome‑Based Education (OBE) to ensure students are equipped for the challenges of tomorrow.”

The convocation concluded with the conferring of degrees and honours upon graduating students, marking the beginning of their new journey as professionals and leaders.
