Dr. Piyush Ranjan is working as a Professor & Registrar with Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Ranjan holds double post-graduate degree in Management and Computer Application and also double graduate degree in Physics and Computer Application. He has over 17+ years of experience in corporate sector and academics. Apart from being an IT Consultant, he has also taught in various educational institutions in Delhi and other places. His area of expertise includes MIS, Operating System, Database Management System and Network Administration. His area of research includes Environmental Impact of Microprocessor Technology, Threat of dumping Obsolete Computers, Sustainable Development of Computer Technology etc. Prof. Ranjan has contributed and edited chapters in various books both for National & International publishers and also published few books like ‘Challenges to Higher Education’, ‘Online Learning’, ‘Changing Role of Teachers in Education’ and many more. He is also on the Board of ‘Advisory Editorial Member’ of various National & International Journals and has conducted many workshops and FDP in institutes across India. He has also presented various papers in National & International Conferences organized by FMS Delhi, IIT Roorkee, ISB Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, IMT Ghaziabad, NIRMA University etc. He is also a recipient of various awards and achievements including “special acknowledgement Certificates” for the contribution in different Management Development Programs from All India Management Association (AIMA) for four consecutive years (2007- 2010). He has also been awarded as an “Innovative Academic Leader” in year 2017 for his outstanding and exemplary contribution to education and skill by Global Education and Skill Summit.

Anita Singh is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & IT at Jharkhand Rai University. She has completed her Ph.D & the topic for her Doctoral dissertation was “Struggling women-writings in Nigeria with special reference to the novels of Buchi Emecheta”. She has more than ten years of teaching experience in the English language and communication at BITEC Lalpur and R.W.C. Ranchi. Dr. Singh has attended couple of seminars as well as published research papers in various journals.

Anuradha Sharma presently working as a Faculty Assistant in Jharkhand Rai University. She holds a Master degree in Information Technology from BIT Mesra and a B.Tech degree from B.P.U.T (Biju Pathnayak University of Technology). Her topic for research while M.Tech was “Prediction of Iron ore using Soft Computing Technique” which involved Artificial Neural Network using Back propagation method. Her interest include RDBMS, C, C++. She is an avid reader and holds interest in current affairs topic.

Kumar Amrendra is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University. He has completed his Ph.D. in the area of Computer Networking and Issues in Ad-hoc Networks. He holds a Master Degree in Computer Application (MCA) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He has done his Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. He has done his project on Student Service System, BIT Mesra, Ranchi. He was also awarded with G.P. Birla Scholarship for academic excellence during his masters. Prof. Amrendra has more than 6 years of teaching experience in different educational sector. His area of interest includes Computer Networking, Database Management System, Computer Graphics, C, C++, and Data Mining. He has great interest in Research and Publications with more than 10 publications in reputed Journals with highest Impact Factor of 7.36. He has contributed 6 book chapters having National and International publisher. Dr. Amrendra has also authored a book titled Futuristic Trends in Information Technology. He has three patents published on his name titled “CV based Accident-Avoidance System through Video Surveillance using Deep Learning Algorithms”, “Artificial Intelligence and IoT based Intelligent Automation (Home) using Wi-Fi and Android Applications” and “A Systematic Analysis of An Image-Based System for Identifying and Classifying Plant Diseases using Deep Learning Methods”. He has also attended several National and International Conference and Seminars. He has also contributed in 2 projects conducted by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur in association with Palamu Government “Doctor-Patient Appointment Web App” and “Aarogya – Sahiya Portal and Web App”. Dr. Amrendra is the Convener of Institution Innovation Council (IIC) – Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the University. He is a certified Innovation Ambassador at Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell & AICTE. Dr. Amrendra is also a Master Trainer of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) selected by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and University Grants Commission (UGC). He is also working as Placement coordinator in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. Apart from teaching he has a keen interest in Sports and Cultural Activities and he is also associated with the Cultural Club of the University.

Irfan Alam is an Associate Professor in the faculty of Computer Science and IT at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Irfan has done his Ph.D. on the topic “Vulnerabilities and Security Challenges in Management of Cloud Computing”. Along with BCA, ADCA, MCA Dr. Irfan has done courses from C-DAC (New Delhi), DOEACC (New Delhi) and ICS (Ranchi). Apart from presenting research papers in seminar and conference he has also published various research papers in different journals. Dr. Irfan has more than 12 years of experience in academics which includes various educational institutions and organization like Lovely Professional University, Usha Martin University, and Usha Martin Academy. His area of research includes Cryptography, Cloud Security, Machine Learning and DNA Computing and his area of expertise are Data Structure, Java, Python Machine Learning, Database Management System, Web-Designing, C, C++, Shell Programming. He has also conducted classes in the Refresher Course of UGC-Academic Staff College in Information Technology.

Kailash Pati Dutta, a renowned educationist & researcher by profession and a motivational speaker by passion, is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University Ranchi. Dr. Dutta has completed his B.Sc. Engineering from Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag and M.Tech from BIT Sindri (an Institution under the Govt. of Jharkhand). He earned his P.hD Degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur. The topic of his PhD Thesis was “Synthesis of Planar Array Antenna using Evolutionary Algorithms”. His P.hD was selected under the prestigious Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme (VPS) of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. Dr. Dutta has a rich academic and administrative experience of more than 14 years in technical education. He has more than 7 years of experience as Professor In-Charge of Training and Placements with note-worthy industry connects. To his credit, Dr. KP Dutta has 10 publications in reputed SCI & Scopus indexed International journals, 5 conference papers in reputed Scopus & WoS indexed conference proceedings, 1 International patent granted by Govt. of Australia and one R&D project funded by TEQIP-II. Apart from these, he was the guide & mentor of ‘Team Vidyut’, the 2nd runner-up of the AICTE’s Smart India Hackathon 2018. He is also the ‘Advisor’ to the Board of Directors of Electromotion e-Vidyut Vehicles Private Limited Pune, Maharashtra and Senior Advisor to the Unati Global Connect Private Limited (UGCPL) Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has experience of working as HoD of the ECE Department, Professor In-Charge of the Incubation Center, President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Nodal Officer (Academic) of TEQIP-II, a World Bank funded project sponsored by MHRD, GoI at one of the affiliated colleges under Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi. He has worked as a reviewer in many prestigious SCI indexed journals that include IEEE-AWPL, Cluster Computing (Springer), International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley and Sons), International Journal of Antennas and Propagation (Hindwai) etc. His areas of interest include evolutionary algorithms, machine learning, soft computing, array antenna and meta-heuristic optimization algorithms.

Dr. Binod Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of CSE and IT at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. Dr. Binod has completed his MCA and M. Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. He earned his P.hD Degree from the Kalinga University, Raipur. The topic of his Ph.D. thesis was “Design and Development of Secure and Energy Efficient Techniques for IoT Devices”. He has presented many research papers in IEEE and International Conferences. He has also published many research papers in various reputed Scopus indexed international journals and attended various workshops and seminars in BIT Mesra, Ranchi. His areas of interest include Design and Analysis of Algorithm, Data Structure, Formal Language Automata Theory, C, C++, Java, Python, AI and Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Numerical Methods.

Rajan Kumar Tiwari is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & IT at Jharkhand Rai University. Tiwari earned his Masters in Computer Application from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He is associated with Jharkhand Rai University since August 2016. He has a rich experience of 15 years in teaching profession in the area of CS & IT. During this time span, he served different teaching institutions. In his current profile, he is also associated with the University Examination Department and the bi-annual newsletter of the University in the role of Editor. In addition to teaching-learning, he has a keen interest in co-curricular activities for the all-round development of the students. Prof. Tiwari was also associated with print media as a sub-editor in a reputed hindi daily for eight years.

Wakil Kumar is presently working as Assistant Professor in the faculty of Computer Science & IT. He earned his M.Sc.in Mathematics from Science College; Patna University and M.Phil in mathematics from Ranchi University. Special Paper in M.Sc. was Operation Research and special paper in M.Phil is Generalized Integral Transform. His teaching experience is more than five years in different Engineering College including R.G.I.T Koderma, G.G.S.E.S.T.C Bokaro. His area of interest is Laplace Transform, Fourier, Z-Transform, Differential Equation and Complex Analysis. He attended Short term Training Programme on “Effective Teaching” sponsored by TEQIP-II, MHRD & conducted by CET, IIT Kharagpur.

Shashank Sawan is working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & IT at Jharkhand Rai University. He has completed his B.tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Synergy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dhenkanal (affiliated to BPUT) and M.tech in Computer Science & Engineering from BIT Mesra, Ranchi. During B.tech, As major project, he developed a Media Player namely “The Ultimate Synergy Player” (just like VLC media player, Windows media player, etc.) But with a Photo Viewer embedded into it (just like Windows Photo viewer).It could read audio, video and also image files. Also, during B.tech, he worked as a Project Trainee in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. During M.tech, the topic of his research was “Two Layered Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) Neural Network and Gaussian RBF Kernel SVM along with ensemble methods (bagging, boosting, stacking) and Stratified K-Fold for Diabetes Classification”. His areas of research includes Machine learning and Data mining. His areas of interest includes Machine learning, Database management system, Operating system, C, C++, Java and Python.

Ms. Shivangini Bihari is working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University. She is currently pursuing Ph.D from Jharkhand Rai University and her area of research is in Machine learning. She has qualified UGC- NET in Computer Science and Application. She has completed her B.Sc (CA) in Computer Science & Application department from Ranchi Women’s College and M.Sc (IT) in Computer Science & Application department from Ranchi College, Ranchi under Ranchi University. She has developed Website “Online Food Ordering” and also developed Android based App “Local Search”, search like nearest Hospital, Restaurant, Bank, ATM etc. She is also working as Project Coordinator and Events in-charge of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. Her areas of interest includes DBMS, Python Operating system, C, C++, Java Automata and compiler.

Manoj Kumar Mandal is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Jharkhand Rai University. Mr. Mandal earned his Master in Mathematics from Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh and Ph.D. from Jharkhand Rai University Ranchi. The Topic of his “Some Application of Fuzzy Set Theory in Quadratic Programming” A part from presenting research papers in Seminars and conferences he has also authored various research Papers that have published in national and international journal. Mr. Mandal has a rich experience of 16 years during this span he has worked at different positions in Diploma and degree college.

Mr. Chandray Soren

Chandray Soren is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University. He has hold a degree in Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering (M.Tech.-CSE) from Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Master of Computer Application (MCA) from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Diploma in Office Computing (DOC) from Zee Education, Orissa and Bachelor Degree from North Orissa University, Baripada. He has qualified UGC-GATE in Computer Application & Information Technology and JEE in Computer Application. His topic for research while M.Tech. was “Data Mining in Pattern Recognition by Back Propagation”. He is having 14 years of total work experience which includes 7+ years of teaching experience in University and Engineering Colleges like National Institute of Computer Education, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology & Management Science, Rourkela, along with he has worked as a System Administration and Assistant Examination Controller during his teaching periods. He has also worked as a Vocational Coordination in Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Project (School Project) at Venture Skill India Pvt. Ltd., Ranchi. His areas of interest in teaching include Software Engineering, Data Mining, C, C++, Java, Python, Android, Operating System, Digital Logic, Microprocessor, Computer System Architecture, and Computer Network, MIS, E-Commerce.

Sanjay Kumar Mahto is a Faculty Associate in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University. He has earned his Master in Computer Application from Jain University, Bangalore and B.Sc IT from Ranchi University. He has published his research paper on the topic “Supermarket Sales Forecasting using Machine Learning” in Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research (JETIR). He has done project training at System Department of Central Coalfields Limited, Ranchi on the topic “College Management System”. He has also undergone training on “Sales and Distribution Module on SAP” at Usha Martin Limited.
