Mukhiyas From Khunti District Visited Jharkhand Rai University for reforms on higher education

Reforms in Higher Education in Jharkhand is on the Cards: Mukhiyas From Khunti District Visited Jharkhand Rai University

Jharkhand Rai University organized an event on 11th March 2015, in which Mukhiyas and Ward Members of more than 35 Villages of Khunti District in Jharkhand were invited to visit the University Campus. The aim was to spread awareness about the importance and role of higher education in creating an empowered and skilled youth for the state of Jharkhand. The initiative was taken to educate them about various schemes and projects that are focused on higher education for the underprivileged students. We at Jharkhand Rai University understand our responsibility towards the state and are thus committed to bring reforms in higher education for the students belonging to SC, ST and other backward classes.
This initiative was a part of our social responsibility as we believe in bringing positive and collective change through education. Social initiatives like this should mean involvement in activities that improve the lives of individuals and communities both locally and globally. These activities can surely bring comprehensive changes in the education outcomes, employability, and the overall development of our state and nation. This initiative not only reflects our commitment to the society but also identifies the need for transformation through education in the state of Jharkhand.
During the event, Dr Savita Sengar, VC, Jharkhand Rai University while addressing the Mukhiyas emphasized on the role of education and gender equity. She briefed the Mukhiyas and Ward members about various education and career options available at Jharkhand Rai University. Dr Sengar urged everyone to come forward and join hands in empowering and transforming the rural parts of Jharkhand through education.
In the end all the Mukhiyas and Ward members not only interacted with various University officials but also took a round of the entire University campus including the Library, Labs and Hostels.
